The North Sea on Tour (Part III). A four-course matinee featuring fish from the North Sea - from head to tail - inspired by all points of the compass. Expect herring, scallops, lemon sole (aka Witje), and North Sea crab from the Woord family. Under the guidance of Sander Overeinder and Jesse Burkunk (Wat Schaft de Podcast), VRR will apply a range of techniques including curing in acid, poaching, and grilling - all paired with classics such as sauce Veronique.

VRR shares the building with Stadsbakkerij As, an artisan bakery that still bakes according to baker Eef's original recipe for Amsterdam restaurants and locals. The bakery shop offers sourdough and everything that pairs well with bread. Open from Tuesday to Saturday (9:00 am – 3:00 pm).
